However why stray far with superb walks, birdwatching, bike and horse trails right on the estate, and countless pubs close by? All of our cottages offer free Wifi! Come for two nights, a whole week or longer, there’s so much to see and do in northeast Suffolk.

The Dairy

Our cute fully self-contained one bedroom cottage is set up a no through lane. Perfect for couples seeking a quiet retreat or those looking for a base while exploring Suffolk.

The Dairy has everything you need for a relaxing stay, including a bedroom with king bed with luxurious linen, modern bathroom with shower, fully equipped kitchen, and living room fitted with TV, wood burner and sofa bed, as well as a dining table for four. Private fenced garden with terrace and garden furniture and barbecue.

The Dairy is positioned near our other holiday property, The Stables, which is a 3 bedroom fully furnished home. Both properties are totally independent and private of each other, however if you are travelling in a large group, they can be rented together, subject to availability.

The Stables

Converted from a stable into a home 25 years ago, and refurbished into a modern and cosy single storey home 2 years ago. Beautifully situated overlooking fields it is on a no through lane so secure and safe for children and dogs.

Features
Each bedroom has its own en suite with bath and shower, making it perfect for a group or family booking. The living room has a sofa bed which can accommodate two extra people. The open plan kitchen/diner has a range cooker and dishwasher. The living room has a wood fire burner ready to go, making for a very cosy area for lounging in any way you desire. There are numerous books, indoor and outside games (for young and old!), music, DVDs, to keep you entertained, as well as its own terrace, hot tub (additional charge) and barbeque. Countless walks and bird watching opportunities for anyone feeling a little more active.

If you have more than 8 guests or would like more space, we also have an additional 1 bedroom cottage located next to The Stables, which is totally independent and fully self-catered which can be rented together, subject to availability.

2 Brook Cottage

A beautiful, 3 bedroomed, semi detached thatched cottage in the heart of the Sotterley Village. Recently renovated to a high standard, this listed property is a  comfortable, remote base for you to discover the Suffolk Coast, Norfolk Broads and more

Features
This chocolate box cottage has 3 bedrooms – a ground floor double room, a queen size double and an interconnecting twin room. The queen bed can be split into a further twin room, making it ideal for families and friends.
The outside patio has beautiful views of the countryside, and you will be amongst countless walks with bird watching opportunities for anyone feeling a little more active.  Cycle storage is possible, and we are based on some wonderful cycle routes. It is also possible to bring your horse and enjoy our 12 mile horse trail, with a short trip to the beach and Dunwich forest.
The cottage is pet friendly, with a nice size garden and secure fencing.
If you have more than 6 guests or would like more space, we also have the 2 bedroom cottage, 1 Brook Cottage, next door. These can be rented together, subject to availability.

1 Brook Cottage

The other half to this pretty thatched cottage, a 2 bedroomed, recently renovated holiday home. The master bedroom boasts a queen size bed (which can also be split into twin beds on request) and a second bedroom can also sleep two. Dogs are welcome, and will enjoy our fenced garden and network of footpaths

This red brick Suffolk cottage has two bedrooms, comfortably sleeping a family of 4 or 2 couples, and the beds split into singles so a group of friends can also share.
